In recent weeks, the New York Times has been completely embarrassing itself by using some incredibly watered-down, mealy-mouthed headlines for articles that describe acts of alarming political extremism.
Forget The NY Times. It’s run by a bunch of anti union transphobes and deserves to be thrown onto the ash heap of history. May they step barefoot on legos for the rest of their lives.
You know, it's interesting to read these comments, but it's not just the NYT, NPR does it! WaPo does it! The Alantic does it. Everybody who speaks out loud does it.
What strikes me is that if Obama (sorry, media pundits, Former President Obama) were under four indictments, and what is it, 87? 91?, charges, he would be in jail.
I don't respect George Santos because he is holding elected office. And you know what? I don't respect the people who voted for them.
When your supporters threaten violence if you cross your eyes wrong, and you ENCOURAGE THAT VIOLENCE, it scares people into silence.
What used to be "the paper of record" is now the paper of wreckage, a pathetic shell of what it once was, the sad husk of itself and a reminder of how much we have lost as we wade deeper and deeper into the version of fascism that is the desired government of way-too-many Americans.
I get the idea that the Times, believing that Trump may win the White House again in 2024, fears offending him and his henchmen so that the paper will enjoy his good graces and gain respect where someone in the wheelhouse of the Times thinks it counts.
Every day the Times continues with their mealy mouthed headlines. You raise excellent examples. NYT headline this morning on the US-China talks is another example. They ignored substantive agreements which other media (non-US) headlined.
BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!
